Pixel Sketchpad

Make little pixel pictures at your own pace. Every tap snaps to a square, so a wobble never smudges the drawing, and straight lines take just two taps: one for the start and one for the end. Nothing you do is ever lost. Undo as much as you like, and every earlier version stays in the history strip below the picture.

History

Every step you take is kept here, including ones you undid. Tap any picture to go back to it. Drawing after an undo starts a new branch; the old branch stays.

How it works

Square: press anywhere, slide until the right square is highlighted, then lift. The square is only painted when you let go, so you can adjust first. Lift outside the canvas to cancel.
Line and Box: tap the start, then tap the end. You see a preview before anything changes. Tap the start again to cancel.
Fill paints the whole patch of touching squares with the same colour. Pick the crossed-out swatch to erase with any tool.
On a keyboard, arrow keys move the highlight and Enter or Space uses the tool. Escape cancels a half-made line. Ctrl+Z undoes and Ctrl+Y redoes.
Your picture and its whole history are kept in this browser between visits, when the browser allows it.
